Bloodglade, beardless and wearing boots and pants!

Upon entering the Neverwinter Nights Resurrection realm today, I sensed a familiar presence. "Bloodglade?" I shouted. He answered, "Vedui', mellon."

Soon, we met in the Wharves by the gate to Floodblest. 'Twas intriguing seeing him in this guise for he was smooth-chinned and wearing boots and pants -- odd, for him.

But, strange magic blocked the gate and kept us from entering Floodblest, at least temporarily. 'Glade explained that he sought greater challenges than could be found in the Wharves, so we decided to return to Neverwinter and seek adventure there.

Alas, the ship at the dock would not sail to the Kraken islands until nightfall. Hence, we entered the Sewer Works beneath Castle Never. Following the ways of the druid in this realm, Bloodglade summoned a mighty panther as his animal companion, which he named Prunejuice.

Bloodglade with his animal companion, Prunejuice, and Starrbolt encounter the guardian golem of the Neverwinter Sewers.

Near the entrance, we encountered the guardian golem of the Neverwinter Sewers. We lied to it, saying we had Kraken badges, and it stupidly allowed us to pass.

Bloodglade, Starrbolt and their summoned allies battling against orcs in the sewers.

The pig-men take a pounding.

Through the dark, dank, smelly sewers we clomped and slopped. Many ill-tempered creatures confronted us including orcs, a cloud giant, earth elementals, a bullette, fire elementals, and worse. What could be worse, you ask? Well, the chamber filled with two iron golems and three beholders, where Bloodglade shouted our strategy: "Run!"

Eventually, we found a chamber where a human male sold passage to Triboar for 100 gold pieces. Generously, Bloodglade donated the sum to me, and we both took the trip to Triboar.

There, we shopped in town to sell off treasure and replenish our supplies. Then, we explored crypts in the arena as well as the dungeon called Triboar Under. Bloodglade cast druid spells including Bark Skin, Lightning, and Heal; he's quite the magic user and forest protector in this realm. Me, I tried to stay behind him and his summoned creatures where it was safer.

In a crypt of the Triboar arena, Starrbolt and Bloodglade shoot arrows from a distance as 'Glade's summoned dire spider and panther melee a minotaur.

We took the north road out of Triboar toward Berun's Hill. After battling trolls along the forest path, we came upon a hidden doorway amongst the trees. Bloodglade asked me, should we enter? Characteristically, I replied, "Sure."

How was I supposed to know it led downward into a hidden stone building, which was guarded by Kraken warriors and a white dragon? Oh, sure, I know what some of you must be thinking: "Starrbolt led elves to a place where they all got killed -- again."

Well, I'm sorry. But, I wanted to see the white dragon. If we only had a few more allies, surely we might have triumphed.

Perhaps we could gather a larger hunting party of elves? That is, if Bloodglade will adventure with me again after this outing's all-too-familiar ending.
