There are two new bad guys in play; The Red Solen Worker and Red Solen Warrior.

The worker is an easy foe. Melee or archery takes them right down.

The warrior is armed with a nasty bite (30-40 points) and an acid spray. The spray can suprise you and I found a number of human corpses, victims of the spray. You can hover on the edge of long range with a bow and the spray will not hit you. But they have a lot of durability so expect a long drag before they go down.

If there are no innocents around, a blade spirit works well to pin them down for disposal.

The loot is good. In the 100 range for workers and 300 for warriors. Also they carry a fungus, zoogi I think. Haven't worked out yet what its good for. Also I noticed two new types of mushrooms growing in the forest. Maybe no relation but interesting timing.

I found them spawning lightly near Yew and a little more heavily along the road from Britain to Trinsic just south of Gazerland.
