Mixed Feelings

Iralen tried to look away from his eyes. But she could not do it. They were so beautiful and there was something about him that made her want to be near him and to tell him everything about herself. She stopped herself from revealing her secrets as she knew in her heart that it would not be wise. The Ungwe elves had taught her well and she was very thankful for this. As she thought about it she realised how much she missed her family.
She continued to look deep into Soulion's eyes. She looked past the piercing look from and saw the beauty and wisdom concealed there. She was overwhelmed with a sense of well-being and happiness but also with the sense of sorrowfulness and fear. Just being near him felt so right and yet so wrong.

"Why was he expecting me? What does he want?" was the thought that kept racing through her mind. She had to know.
"Why were you expecting me?"
