The ancient warlock stood over the motionless figure of his Lady and ruler.
She lay there unmoving, yet wide awake. Unknown to all but the most learned, Christina fought for her very existance.
The vampire shaman weaved a spell, twisting his sharp nailed fingers amongst each other. A faint blue glow appeared around his hands and he placed her hands in his, he began to feed his strength to his Lady. She visibly strengthened, her closed eyes untensing.
Still, however. She lay unmoving. The shaman sat at his Lady's desk. He was writing a letter.
Dear Mr. Caster,
It has come to my attention that, the condition of my Lady Christina is deteriorating rapidly. You have previously expressed some hint of aid towards our situation. I send this in urgency, for I fear she hasn't long before she loses all control and ceases to exist.
I would have you meet with me as soon as possible on this matter, she needs the aid of the fellow you have mentioned urgently.
Please respond with great haste,
Regards,
Dyr'saa Tyrak,
~Shaman and Warlock
of the line of Tyrak~
The ancient vampire finished, his script hasty yet ever flowing and beautiful, the product of centuries of practiced penmanship.
Dyr'saa folded the letter and placed in inside an envelope, the tossed it in to the air, a strong gust of wind carrying it away.
