(TV-5)Saginaw- It was just a squirrel which plunged downtown Saginaw into darkness today. The squirrel, now deceased, somehow caused a failure of a Consumers Power substation located on South Baum Street. About 250 downtown customers lost power at about 9:20pm. Most power was restored at around 2:30pm.
