Rhaessi had left the tavern, following the rabbit. The vampire, Christina, was up to something. And she, Rhaessi, intended to discover it as it could harm Leo. The rabbit hadn't reacted to Christina the way she had on previous encounters. The rabbit had previously been terrified of her, now she was calling Christina her best friend.

Rhae had noticed something odd about that time. Christina had rubbed the ruby ring she wore and then told Jenn not to be afraid. The rabbit's behaviour had changed then and she had stopped cowering behind the vampire. That ring was something Rhae intended to discover more about.
