Galethien woke up the next morning just as the blackness of night gave way to dawn. She threw the coverlets back and walked over to the window and drew open the curtains as the sky was beginning to glow purple and orange. Turning back to the bed , Galethien dressed and packed what she had taken out of her backpack. Her next step was to find a stable to purchase a mount for the long journey. Leaving the room she closed the door quietly behind her. The long hall was deserted as nobody was up yet. She turn to walk down the stairs that lead into the dinning hall and sat down in a chair next to the hearth. The same man with the grizzled beard that she saw last night strode over to her table.

"And how ye be me lady? Slept well I hope? Will it be something to eat for ye?".

"Yes indeed, I slept well. Something it eat it will be. Can you tell me where the nearest stable is. I am in need to purchase a mount." Galethien answered.

"Yes indeed, the finest stable in Britian is just around the corner. Ye will find no better mount then there and the fairest price to be found, but be sure to bargain first. I will bring you something to eat."

Galethien finished eating the breakfast and got up form the table, slung her back pack over her shoulder, her bow over the other. Stepping down the stairs outside of the The North Side Inn , she turned started walking in the direction in which the innkeeper had told her she could find the stables. After walking a short distance she came upon a large building with a large sign hanging for the door "The Bucking Horse Stables." Entering the stables, Galethien saw a man in one of the stalls pitching hay. She slowly walked by each stall, studying the horses

"Can I help ye Miss?

"Yes, I am looking for good mount for a long travel I will be on."

Just at that time Galethien saw a caramel colored horse in the far stall, and walked towards it. The horse was very large and looked quite strong. Galethien read out her hand towards the nuzzel and the horse greeted her by rubbing against her hand.

"How much for this one?" She turn to look at the man, who was walking towards
her.

"My name Gerard, at your service. Now that is a mighty fine horse there, strong
and able to make a great journey. Hmmm let's say 750 gold pieces"

Galethien opened the stall door and stood closer and ran her hands up and down the horses front legs, and then moving to the back of the horse ran her hands down the leg once more.

" Will you include a saddle and briddle in the price?

Gerard tapped his forehead "I don't know miss, a saddle for the horses would cost
ye another 100 gold pieces. That there is a very fine mount and our saddles are
made of the best."

"750 gold pieces is all that I will offer. I hear there is another stable, perhaps
I could find a better deal there."

As she started came out of the stall and closed the gate.

"Ok, Ok miss 750 gold pieces it will be. It be a hard bargain you drive." Gerard
said throwing his hands up in the air.

Galethien gave him 750 in gold pieces. Gerard went over to the wall , drew down a
saddle and bridle , laying them next Galethien. She brought the horse out of the
stable and began putting the saddle on. She then climbed upon its back and rode out of the stables and headed towards Britian's main gate.

A fine mount indeed and a fine mount needs a name. Galethien thought to herself
" I will call him Elómbor, which means strong and swift.

Galethien started heading north on the main road.
