It had been a reletively easy day.. The first in a long time for Andrew Do'Kora, Herald of The Raven and High Paladin of the Legion of the Shattered Hand.

He lugged the heavy sack he was carrying higher unto his shoulder; it was filled with lumber and tinder, which would be used to warm the common room of the Temple durring cold nights. Trudging through the snow, he ame upon the clearing in front of the temple.. And saw her.

His lips went tight, his brow furrowed, forming small wrinkles between his eyes. He knew who the visitor was... Myra Sunviel, of the Grey Company. Andrew was not in the mood to deal with her mouth today..And, holding pressedence above all else, elves were strictly forbidden upon the Temple Grounds.. Myra, crouched in the snow, face burried in her hands, happened to be an elf.. on the temple's property.

Andrew cleared his throat and spoke up, using the tone he often spoke to his soldiers in...
"Why are you here..?"

Myra looked up.. It was only then that he noticed her body was wracked with dry sobs..He didn't care.

"Elves are not permitted on the temple.."

He saw the blood, caking her hair, crusted over her face, staining the snow pink..

"... on.. the temple.. grounds.."

Then, faintly, as if noticing the sun behind clouds, he saw the mark, covered in blood, etched upon her forehead... Between her sobs and mumblings, the paladin caught one comprehensible phrase.. "Trenton was here."

Andrew stopped cold at the words.. He felt as if he had just been punched in the stomach.. Mord'sythe was dead.. wasn't he?? The mark on Myra's forehead seemed to scream at him.. No, Sythe was indeed alive..

Do'kora rushed to the elf's side.. Taking her gently by the arms, he helped her to her feet.. then, moving slowly, he led her to the door of the tower..

Vinson, the sentry of the Temple, stepped aside, his head bowed in shame.. He had let Mord'sythe enter, and in doing so, had failed in his duties.

Do'kora shot a quick, angered glance at Vinson as he helped Myra into the warmth of the Temple;
"i'll speak to you later.."

Soon, Myra was sitting in the Temple's common room, Andrew washing her face free of blood. In the shadows of the corner, Joseph stood, a disguted and disapproving look on his face as the official messenger and mouth of Khellenduras kneeled in front of an elf and acctually cleaned her.. washed her wounds..!.. as if he were a common servant.

thought rushed through Andrew's mind as he played a game of question and answer with Sunviel..Why was Trenton here? Was it even the REAL Sythe..? How is he still alive, where had he been.. and what plans did he have for this Order, this Temple? And the temple's god...

The questioning session came to an abrupt halt as Andrew soon realized that Myra was as clueless to Mord's intentions as he was..

Motioning to Joseph to summon a messenger bird, Andrew walked across the room, quickly sorted through a chest, and pulled out four items; parchment, a quill, a magic scroll.. and a rune.

The quill and parchment were thrown hastily on the desk of the common room, landing on top of historical tomes on Khellenduras.

Andrew pressed the scroll he had into myra's hand; it was a recall scroll. The rune he placed on the desk; it was to Myras home, a place the Shattered Hand often scouted.

"you need to leave here, Myra.."

Sunviel gave a weak nod.

"go to your home.. rest"

Myra read the scroll, used the rune, and was gone in an instant.

Andrew set to work..

He wrote quickly, finishing the fragmented note and attaching it to a raven within two minutes. Within another minute, the raven was on it's way to Yew, to deliver a messege to the Shattered Hand's operative, hidden within the Glade.

Andrew, however, was already out of the temple, treking across the ice feilds towards the coast, where his boat awaited.

He needed to get to moonglow...

And from there, Ilshenar. He was going to speak to his God personally.
