Melian and me

Nienna was crying as well as him They were now sitting on the floor leaning against the bed. He was not evil which was reassuring. She had listened to him all night, he had talked about his love Melian. But now she was confused 'I trusted him just me thats it Lirimaer didnt trust him the only one who trusted was me why?? why did i trust?? he said no one since Melian had trusted not a single member of my family trusted since her, not one, but then i did why me??' she could give herself no answers 'Why??' she said aloud
Imlach looked up at her he brushed away his tears 'why what??'
Nienna looked in to his eyes 'do i trust you Imlach, why do i trust you??'
'Honestly Nienna i dont know you must be sort of erm'He looked confused 'Special or somthing'
'Special?? what do you mean??' Nienna was unsure now
'Well, i mean that your family dont trust me well they probably just judge me by how i look and how i feel to them its not my fault that i am me i was born that way how can it be my fault?? anyway Melian had this quality where she could almost see peoples inner self i guess i dont really know what it is but she knew when to trust me and then if i ever lied to her she could tell immeadiatly and she would trust people who even i wouldnt have trusted its like she saw their innerself and not how they felt if that makes any sense'
Nienna nodded slowly she was beginning to understand 'so your saying that i have am like Melian in a way because i knew i could trust you even though Lirimaer didnt and i shouldnt have'
'Yea, its a gift treasure it you never know it might save your life again' Imlach said he took in a deep breath and stood up he offerd Nienna a hand up she took the offer gratefully
'Well what now are we still going to leave??'
He looked at her again his eyes were filled with pain she knew then that he would not force her he couldnt not now
'sorry' Nienna apologised 'i didnt think, that was unfair'
He smiled back at her 'Can i sleep here tonight??'
'Course you can and we will forget the whole you trying to kill me thing yea and we will just concentrate on being friends right' Nienna said with a smile and watched as he looked at her lovingly she returned the smile then turned around and went to get sheets all the time thinking to herself 'your gonna have to watch yourself here Nienna, if you go too far he might get the wrong idea be careful with him he has just brought back all the memories of his lost love and now hes not going to kill you because of a belief of his that you are like her so you must act normal dont go too far but dont do to little your treading on thin ice do it carefully!!'
