Myra was sitting in the chapel of the Yew Abbey. It was a place of quiet contemplation for her. Besides that... Dolen had said he'd be staying in the Abbey... Her thoughts were interupted by the turning of the doorknob. Quickly and quietly, Myra stepped back against the wall, letting the shadows embrace her, settle around her. Her soft black velvet dress didn't make a sound as its lower hem slid along the marble floor.
It was K'ryn. Myra might have been surprised, but soon enough, the reason for her appearance was revealed. The scent of sulfur and brimstone was carried on the air currents. Myra almost sighed. This was not what she had planned for her night.
K'ryn followed her advice... Myra lapsed into thought, wondering just what she should do, if anything. The opening of a magical portal brought her from her thoughts, and moving swiftly, Myra slid through the shadows along the walls and into the portal that opened to the Salty Daemon.
Floating through the soft embrace of the darkness, Myra climbed the stairs and found a comfortable corner beside a pillar. The handsome man she'd seen in the Arrow a few times, Setzer, was there. She admired him for just a moment before Nominus appeared outside the building. Myra watched the exchange between the two in silence. A voice in her mind was screaming at her, that she didn't need to be here. But another part of her stifled that voice.
The appendage of the daemon lord left K'ryn with a note, which she discarded on the stairs after reading it. Setzer moved across the way, toward K'ryn who'd walked out to the patio. With not even a whisper of sound, Myra stepped forward and picked up the letter. Her eyes read over the words, and then she turned her attention to K'ryn.
"You were right." Somehow, these words from K'ryn were less fulfilling than Myra'd always imagined.
She advised her to be wary of the islands, perhaps hide in one of the last places The Shadow, or even Andrew would look. Handing back the note to the almost-distraught woman, the two 'enemies' said goodbye.
"Farewell, Myra Sunveil."
"Namaarie, K'ryn Nor."
