theres no "elf race" to choose, per say, but RPing one is easy..

Fill out your character profile (the little rolled up scroll in the bottom lefthand corner of your paperdoll) to say "hi, i'm an elf," or something along those lines.
If you want to RP with the Tel Mithrim, as i do, make a character on the Lake Superior shard. As far as gettin into the guild though,i can't offer my opinion on that; I'm only a fellow who RPs *with* the elves, not as one. Best to ask one of the elves there.
