Amin naa Edhel.. amin naa Velahrcu Naurcam, Megilingir ar' Amandil en' Tel'Mithrim. Hmm.. forgive me, I suppose speaking in the common tongue would be more appropriate in this venue. Although the spirit of your message is admirable, in all actuality there are a few mistakes.

Firstly, just because elves live long, that does not mean they remain infants or even infantile for years. Physically, they mature at much the same rate as any other race. A 12-year old elf would pretty much look like a 12 year-old human save for the racial differences. In fact, as far as education, they may even be a bit advanced of the latter race. However, elves remain youthful for untold centuries. THAT is the true blessing or curse, depending on the point of view, of elven "immortality". This is a common misconception, and not to be wondered at by others. Yes, at 12, 15 or even 30 elves are still considered children, but they are not babes by any count.

As for being rude.. I would say rather, "hasty" is probably closer to the mark.. *smile*
