Crimson stepped out into the night air for the last time this eve. She stayed inside most of the day, only stepping out of the cave to take breaths of fresh air now and then. She was exhausted, and for once in her life afraid. Afraid of going into elven reverie, afraid of what repressed memories await her in her dreams, afraid of learning more about her long forgotten past. She turned to go back inside and paused to look at the glowing orbs burried deep within the sky. Her heart always skipped a beat when she gazed at the stars. With a sigh, she sulked back into her lair.

"Something is wrong.." she thought as she glanced over treasure piles. "Something is out of place.."

And then she saw it, a note left amoung her most prized items. She quickly grabbed it and broke the seal.

"Crimson Dearest,
So long since Ive heard from you Childe. 'Shadow, as you call him, told me you left abruptly. Bothering you something is? Misses your company he does, as do I. Worried about you I am. Send word back with George.
Bahamut be with you.
- Aslynth"

And as if it new she was done reading, George, a miniscule redish-brown dragon appeared next to her. Standing only two feet tall and four feet long, this pseudo-dragon, the tinyest member of the dragon family, was quite adorable.

"Trust Aslynth to find such a courier." she said with a smile. George blew out a puff of smoke in reply.

"Aslynth,
I have returned to Sosaria because I have been having horrible visions.. memories of my forgotten past. On top of that, I had the suspiscion that I was being watched. I needed to get away from the Underdark. So while visiting the Glade, I pledged my alliance to The Grey Company to help them deal with this pesky drow problem they are having. Im needed in the Glade now, my true home. As to Shadow, he was an interesting fellow, but I dont wish to leave here for great lengths of time anymore. Perhaps one of these days you will come and visit.
-Crimson
P.S.- Send George to visit more often, he amuses me."

And with that final thought, she rolled up the parchment and handed it to George. He gave her a regal nod and stuffed it in his pouch. He gave her leg a quick embrace and with a poof of smoke, he was seen no more.

Crimson layed down on her bed of coins with a feeling of contentment. "It feels good to be home." she whispered softly. And with that she drifted off to sleep.
