Celeb'Silma: *smile* Branwilde: now i get to sit Sir Cracter: *claps* Jacob Moon: *leaps to the stage with a flourish of style!* Zhankfor: *breaks out in tears* Jacob Moon: Evening ladies and gentlemen. junithorn: Oh for.. Jacob Moon: How are the judges doing tonight? Let me hear you out in the crowd!!!!!! Vampiro: Ra Branwilde: *smaps fingers* Jacob Moon: I SAID LET ME HEAR YOU OUT IN THE CROWD! Sir Cracter: HEY!! junithorn: ..... Myra Sunveil: *chuckles* Vampiro: RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA Jacob Moon: thats better! Vampiro: hehe Branwilde: *snap snap* junithorn: No Jacob Moon: I came in a bit late i'm afraid, so I'm a little sorry that I don't know what stories h Jacob Moon: have been told already. Jacob Moon: I've seen a great comedy, and a heart-wrenching soul-spill Jacob Moon: So, how about a little action to end the night on? Jacob Moon: (tough crowd to get arroused) Sir Cracter: YAY! Celeb'Silma: *smile* Ai Lote: *laughs* Morion Kuu: *yawns* Jacob Moon: WOOT! Vampiro: hehe junithorn: ... Branwilde: Yadayada Jacob Moon: alright, this is the tale of Death Defying Feats and Courage and Heroism Jacob Moon: Its called Lich's Lair Jacob Moon: I came to this land many many moons ago. Jacob Moon: The lands were still fresh and untouched by the houses of man Jacob Moon: The dangers of the wild were unknown to many. Jacob Moon: Yet, there were still the pioneers of Sosaria who ventured where none would dare. Jacob Moon: These brave souls came back with tales.... those that came back at all... Jacob Moon: and the tales they told held my youthful imagination! Jacob Moon: VILLAINS! Jacob Moon: DEMONS! Jacob Moon: HOARDS OF THE UNDEAD! Jacob Moon: THEY WERE EVERYWHERE Jacob Moon: dungeons were known to hold the deepest and darkest terrors of a man's mind i tell y Melyanna Lindor: *waves to thrand* Jacob Moon: But i was young then Celeb'Silma: *smile* Jacob Moon: ANd I knew nothing of the lands Jacob Moon: So I drew my sword and i vowed to defend every maiden's honour to the last Jacob Moon: drop of my blood. Jacob Moon: Recently, I've learned that most of them could probably kick my ass faster Jacob Moon: than a mare will turn on its tamer! Ai Lote: *laughs* Jacob Moon: *chuckles* Celeb'Silma: *giggles* Jacob Moon: So, I went with the next group of ventures to the dungeon that held the most peril. Jacob Moon: I was greedy for fame and glory and gold. Jacob Moon: Thats right friends... I went to Deciet. Branwilde: *giggles* Jacob Moon: The very name held the chill of terror in the bones of the uninitiated. Jacob Moon: My plate armour was clinking the whole way to the cave entrance, my knees shook Jacob Moon: so badly. Jacob Moon: heh Jacob Moon: So i went in with my comrades... Noble BadTounge. Sir DeathBreath. And Lady Jacob Moon: Morgue. Jacob Moon: We fought valiantly down through zombie and mummies and what-not Jacob Moon: but that is all tame compared to what happened after we passed the dreaded bone Lightfoot: the fierce what-not Jacob Moon: knight's room. Jacob Moon: We had a fairly rousing time cleaning out the room, I must admit. Branwilde: *gasp and shudder* Jacob Moon: But once all the bones had fallen, and the loot was taken, we were lost. Jacob Moon: We had no idea what to do next. It looked like a dead end. Jacob Moon: DeathBreath... what a meddler he was... He went snooping around in one of the corner Jacob Moon: and before our very eyes, he dissapeared. Jacob Moon: We all dropped our jaws to the floor! Jacob Moon: We each ran over to the cornere where he had stood and in turn were whisked Jacob Moon: away to another level of the dungeon. Jacob Moon: Lady Morgue was the first through. Jacob Moon: She tripped over soemthing in the dark. : Lady Maya says *hugs* : Lady Maya says forgot me moose Jacob Moon: I cast a spell of Night Sight upon us to reveal the obstacle. Jacob Moon: It was the corpse of DeathBreath. Jacob Moon: *sighs* : Lady Merlynna says hums a few bars of "I loves a moose" : Lady Maya says *giggles* Jacob Moon: His very life essance had been stripped away. : Lady Merlynna says Night : Lady Maya says was going to name her Melba Jacob Moon: There were no clues. Morion Kuu: :giggles Jacob Moon: Nothing to tell us who had perpetrated this vile crime. Jacob Moon: The darkness was closing in on all of us. Jacob Moon: My magery was weak at that time, and my spells didn't last long. Jacob Moon: The last thing we heard before the lights went out completely..... Jacob Moon: Was a wicked, cold, dead laugh passing through the lifeless lips of some uknown Jacob Moon: fiend. Jacob Moon: Then the lights were out. Jacob Moon: I heard a lady scream, and a gurgling noise which i could only identify as a slit Jacob Moon: throat trying to breath through a gush of blood. Jacob Moon: I knew my 2 companions were dead. I was all alone now. Jacob Moon: In a panic, I ran, down a corridor, bumping into walls and invisible objects. Jacob Moon: I turned a corner frantically. Jacob Moon: Suddenly, a harsh red light blinded my eyes which had become accustomed to the dark Jacob Moon: It seemed to be a magical brazzier of some sort, holding embers which glowed red Jacob Moon: yet gave no heat. Jacob Moon: I examined the thing, Wondering how it got here, forgetting my peril for a moment. Jacob Moon: Then, The laugh..... Jacob Moon: It was right behind me.... I was paralized with fear. Jacob Moon: I could feel a cold breath crawling over the skin of my neck. Jacob Moon: it was pure terror! Ai Lote: eeeep Jacob Moon: My heart stopped beating Jacob Moon: my breath caught in my throat Jacob Moon: *reaches out at bre's neck for effect* Jacob Moon: I never looked back. I took off running in a flash Jacob Moon: but then! Jacob Moon: I was trapped! Jacob Moon: caught in a dead-end with no where to go! Jacob Moon: sheer terrifying madness took hold of my mind and i lost all wits. Jacob Moon: i clawed at the wall, for a few moments, as if i could climb out of the dark cave Jacob Moon: then, i heard the shuffling steps coming town the hall towards me. Jacob Moon: I was still blind in the dark, having left the brazzier behind. Jacob Moon: But i heard the slow steps of a very tall man, using a staff for support. Jacob Moon: The clicking of that staff let me know it was a lich. Jacob Moon: That would explain the brazzier! Those magical furnaces are the lich's link between Jacob Moon: the ethereal world and this world. Jacob Moon: Not many know that these days. Jacob Moon: But anyways, he was fast aproaching, and I had to think fast Jacob Moon: I drew my sword and my shield from my pack Jacob Moon: I braced myself for battle Jacob Moon: And when the first strike came from thelick, i was blown against the wall by a fierc Jacob Moon: heated ball of flame Jacob Moon: Vas Flam Jacob Moon: I nearly lost my sword Jacob Moon: In an effort to protect myself, i held my sword straight out, hopint to parry the Jacob Moon: next attack. Jacob Moon: Sheer dumb luck was with me Jacob Moon: as the lich walked right into my blade and pierced his own heart. Jacob Moon: I stood there astonished. Jacob Moon: Twas the first lich i ever killed. Jacob Moon: I never got a chance to celebrate though. Jacob Moon: My victory was short lived, as the lich fell to my feet. Jacob Moon: Behind him, stood 3 more of his comrades. Morion Kuu: *looks up from playing with pocket lint* Jacob Moon: Together, they raised their staffs and chanted words of power Jacob Moon: I was struck down by magic, and I joined my comrades in the otherworld Jacob Moon: To this day, I warn all travellers to be warry of the depths of dungeons. Jacob Moon: Even the most heartiest of soldiers can fall to those with power. Jacob Moon: Thank you. Ai Lote: *claps* Raven: *claps* Mikesamus: *Claps* Celeb'Silma: *claps* Celeb'Silma: *claps* Celeb'Silma: *claps* Celeb'Silma: *claps* Celeb'Silma: *smile* Branwilde: Well told Morion Kuu: *claps* Jacob Moon: *feels all blushy* Camris Lindar: Well done Jacob! Jacob Moon: Thank you, but i think i should've picked a better story.
