Her name is unknown to those who speak, for it cannot be said, it is a feeling. But her name in common would be a little something like Ailig (Alex) Kaelar (far-wanderer) GaothSaileach (Windwillow). Her hair is red and is tied back behind pointed ears, her eyes are a slanted blue and her skin is silver—like a statue come to life. She attempts to conceal herself in the crowd, trying to make herself unknown amongst these many new people. She doesn’t know if she can trust them, nor can they trust her… For reasons she is unsure of.
Her past would be unknown only to those who don’t know her. Her life she would rather conceal. For no one would want to live near an outcast, one abandoned for fear of bad luck. Long ago, for some reason, she was left alone to die in her homeland. But the creatures discovered her, and took her in. The horses, deer, and wolves taught her many things, things that one could not do. Her nimbleness is the cause of the deer, her speed, from the horse, and her smell, sight, and instincts, from the wolf.
She is thirteen and wanders alone, alone in the vast expanse of world. All alone; no one to befriend her, but some people of the village near her, all of whom were very dull. She searches now for her past, wondering if anyone knew it. Therefore she had gotten her name Ailig Kaelar and took her last name from a woman who raised part of her.
