The next thing she saw was HER name carved into the top of the box. Checking the main floor she made very sure no one was watching, and picked up the present. Closer testing revealed that it was locked.
Sighing deeply the elfmaid replaced the package, and went to get her lunch from the cook.

As she returned to the living area she leaned over to look at the present again. A few crumbs from the bread dropped on the box.
The small birds following her knew a good thing when they saw it. They flew to the top of the box and began pecking merrily away as the maid recalled back to her ship.
