The dawn...

Thralith carefully opened his eyes from his long reverie. He had fallen in a reverie underneath a tree, and hadn't woken up for three days. He stretched, and looked down to his beaten up armor, and blinked as he looked to his fingers.. His fingers were very swollen, but he ignored it. Thralith took his bolt of cloth, and cut a short measurement of it. He wrapped it around his hands, and stretched. He looked to the east, to see his dark brown horse. He climbed upon it, and tapped his boots to it's side. The horse quickly dashed off.

After nearly an hour of riding, his mouth began to dry up, and he urged for water. Time began to pass, and he went unconscious. He crashed off his horse, and the horse continued without him. Thralith began to dream of his love, Cawien. The dream began to speed up, and he yelled as he saw images of her being killed. The moon began to arise, as he woke up. He had lost his horse, and hadn't made much progress today.

He knew he couldn't travel in the dark, alone, so he stayed in the burning desert, without water. He had woken up just as the sun was arising. He began to walk, at a steady pace. The hot sun cooked down on his back, and his hands were getting worse. Finally, as he walked up a hill of sand, he saw a peak of trees. He smiled to himself, and began to run. Once he had reached the trees, he took an apple from one, and bit into it.

The sun was still shining very bright, and he walked through the jungle. He jumped over a log, and heard something behind him. He turned around, and nothing was there. He looked to his left, and nothing was there. He shrugged, and continued. Suddenly, a orc jumped down. The orc swung his axe quick, and Thralith ducked. The axe just missed Thralith's head, and went into the tree next to him. The orc pulled the axe out, with slight trouble, as for he wasn't that smart.

Thralith hid underneath a pile of logs, as the orc looked around in confusion. Thralith moved to grab his sword, when one log fell, and the orc charged towards him. Thralith had managed to draw his sword, and in revenge, struck at the orc, and managed to hit him. The blood squirt up, and the orc growled. Thralith hadn't been prepared, and the great axe came down upon him, striking right next to his right eye, and blood squirting up as he fell to his knees.

The orc stood, with a slight smirk upon his face. Thralith leaped to his feet, and brought his sword down, as the orc's body fell into two. Thralith took a deep breathe, and flayed down. He cut some more pieces of cloth, and covered his wound with it. As he began to fall into yet another reverie, "That'll leave a scar," he mumbled to himself.
