Mission

The mission of the Guardians is to defend nobility and justice by:

  • striving for personal moral perfection.
  • striving for the common good of all citizens of Britannia and by protecting the overall growth of society, particularly in the Province of Yew, the beloved home of The Guardians.
  • striving to support Lord British and the moral, social, and political precepts that he has founded as the best, most logical, and most just system.

The Guardian's Guild Charter

Full membership in the guild grants the following rights:

  • The right to enter the Inner Sanctum and access the information there
  • The right to be heard at guild meetings
  • The right to be part of the guild's decision-making process
  • The right to invite and to sponsor potential new members to the guild

The organizational structure of the the guild is based on a concept know as the Fellowship of Equals--a circle of equals with the Guild Master presiding. By the nature of their deeds, their leadership ability, and their experience, senior members rise to this elevated position of mutual and shared respect in the eyes, but more importantly, in the hearts of their sisters and brothers.

Final judgements and decisions involving guild matters are entrusted by the Fellowship of Equals to the Guild Master who maintains their trust by acting and deciding wisely and by basing decisions on the general consensus of the fellowship.
